Join us for the 11th Annual Massachusetts Ride for the Ribbon on Sunday, June 4, 2017!
Welcome to the home of the Massachusetts Ride for the Ribbon®, a non-profit dedicated to the fight against breast cancer! The MA Ride is an annual charity event that combines horse riding and raising money to benefit Massachusetts resident breast cancer patients and their families.
We hope you will want to be a part of our organization and event. This website will help you learn more about us, learn how to get involved, and learn how we spend the money that we raise. It is our hope that you will want to join us in making a difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families who live in our communities.
Our annual event takes place the first Sunday of June (this year it's June 4th, 2017) at Felton Field in Barre, MA. It is a trail ride consisting of dirt roads, railroad bed, wooded trails and some paved roads covering approximately 9.8 miles. For people who ride horses and want to support a great cause, this is the event for you!
The money you help us raise makes a direct impact on the lives of Massachusetts residents. All of the money raised goes toward funding education, screening, and treatment programs for women and men in our own state, making a difference in the lives of those battling breast cancer.
We couldn’t put on a successful annual event like this without the support and participation of many wonderful people. Appreciation and gratitude go out to our sponsors, volunteers, and riders! Thanks to all of you, the 2014 event was a huge success as we raised over $50,000!!
2016 Charity Partner
For the 2016 event, Ride for the Ribbon partnered with Family Health Center of Worcester. Money raised by our wonderful riders was donated in the form of a grant directed toward funding education, screening, and treatment programs for women and men in Massachusetts. FHCW will again be our charitable partner for the 2017 Ride, continuing a partnership to make a local difference in the lives of those battling breast cancer.
